My 30-year journey to health and vitality

When I left my job in the financial world in 1992, many people thought I was crazy. “You’re leaving a secure career for… Yoga?” 

But I felt this irresistible inner call. Something was missing in the lives of many successful people around me – despite impressive careers, they seemed exhausted, unfulfilled, disconnected from themselves. I asked myself: *How can you improve your mental health and feel real joy in life despite success?

My journey took me through India, Japan and Southeast Asia, where I learned from masters who practiced wisdom teachings that have endured for thousands of years. Not from books, but through direct experience, I understood that the greatest challenge of our time is not productivity, but the ability to consciously direct and improve our energy and, above all, our mental health.

The irony? The principles I discovered in remote ashrams and dojos solved the very problems I had been struggling with in the business world: mental overload, physical exhaustion, lack of presence.

Over three decades, I developed my Smiling Wisdom 4-pillar system, which today helps many people to improve their mental health:
